How We Can Help

About 888-995-HOPE™

The 888-995-HOPE™ hotline has a single mission: to help more homeowners avoid foreclosure. Provided by the Homeownership Preservation Foundation, the Homeowner's HOPE™ Hotline has provided answers, education and counseling to more than 2.4 million homeowners since 2002.

The Foundation is not a mortgage company. We are an independent, third-party resource that has assembled a not-for-profit network dedicated to helping homeowners avoid foreclosure.

The help we offer is free.

Financial support for the Homeowner's HOPE™ Hotline is provided by the Homeownership Preservation Foundation, a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Wondering about Making Home Affordable or other new government-supported programs?

If you qualify for the recently announced programs, you may not need counseling from the Homeowner's HOPE Hotline.  Please call your mortgage company to get started.  You can find the phone number on your mortgage loan payment coupon or statement.

If you don't think you qualify for these particular programs, there are still many options available to you.   Call a counselor at 888-995-HOPE™ to learn more.
